RESTITUTEPRIVATE · ON-DEVICE

For iPhone · Free to scan

Find the subscriptions you forgot you’re paying for.

Screenshot your subscriptions or a bank statement. Restitute reads it on your iPhone — no bank login, and your screenshots are never uploaded — and shows what to cancel, what’s about to charge you, and what to ask back.

Three screenshots. Two minutes.

  1. 01

    Screenshot

Your App Store subscriptions page, or a few screens of your bank or card statement.

  2. 02

    Read on your iPhone

Restitute reads the text on the device. No bank login, no email access, and your screenshots never leave your phone.

  3. 03

    Act

Cancel App Store subscriptions in a few taps, get reminded before a trial charges you, or send a refund letter for a double charge.

Your iPhone only lists what Apple bills you for.

Services you pay with your card instead, like Netflix on the web or Spotify, never show up there, and your statement just says “APPLE.COM/BILL” for the rest. Add both screenshots and Restitute puts the subscriptions it recognises on one receipt.

The three ways money slips away.

Free trials about to charge

The trial you forgot you started, the day it turns paid, and what it will cost you a year.

Subscriptions you forgot

The ones you stopped using but never stopped paying for, with their yearly cost.

Charged twice

The same amount from the same service, twice. Restitute spots it and drafts the refund letter. You send it.

Don’t take our word for it. Check.

  • Works in airplane mode

Turn off Wi-Fi and cellular. The scan still works, because it never needed the internet.

  • No bank login

You never give Restitute a bank password, and it never connects to your bank.

  • No email access

It doesn’t read your inbox. You choose the screenshots.

  • Data Not Linked to You

That’s the App Store privacy label: anonymous usage counts and purchase records, never what it finds. That stays on your iPhone.

You keep 100%.

Claim services keep a share of what they win back. One well-known flight-claims company takes 35% of the compensation, plus 15% more if it goes to court, and bill-negotiation services take 35–60% of the first year’s savings. Restitute takes nothing: it drafts the letter, you send it, and the money is yours.

Questions people ask.

How do I find out what subscriptions I have on my iPhone?

Open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. That lists what Apple bills you for. For services you pay with your card directly, check your bank or card statement. Restitute reads screenshots of both and lists the subscriptions it recognises.

Why can't I see all my subscriptions on my iPhone?

Settings only shows subscriptions you pay through Apple. If you signed up on a website or gave a company your card directly, it won't appear there, but it will appear on your card statement.

Does deleting an app cancel the subscription?

No. Deleting an app doesn't stop its subscription. Cancel it in Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or with the company if you pay them directly.

What happens if I don't cancel a free trial?

It usually turns into a paid subscription the day it ends, and you're charged automatically. Restitute shows the date, and Restitute Pro reminds you 3 days before.

If I cancel a free trial, will I still be charged?

Not if you cancel before it ends. For trials through Apple, cancel at least 24 hours before the end, because Apple can renew within the last 24 hours.

Can I get a refund if I forgot to cancel?

Sometimes. For subscriptions billed by Apple you can ask at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple decides. For other services, ask the company directly.

Why am I being charged by APPLE.COM/BILL?

That's how Apple shows App Store and iCloud purchases on bank statements, sometimes several bundled into one charge. Your iPhone's Subscriptions page shows what's behind it, and Restitute reads both.

What do I do if I've been charged twice?

First check whether one charge is still pending; pending duplicates often drop off within a few days. If both have gone through, ask the company for the duplicate back. Restitute Pro writes that letter for you to send. If that doesn't work, contact your bank.

Which subscription tracker doesn't need my bank login?

Restitute. It reads screenshots you choose, on your iPhone, and never connects to your bank or your email.

Does Restitute cancel subscriptions for me?

No. For App Store subscriptions it takes you straight to Apple's Subscriptions page and shows you where to tap; for services billed to your card, you cancel with the company. Nothing happens without you.

Is it really free to try? What's the catch?

Scanning and the full list are free, with no time limit. Pro adds cancel guides, refund letters and reminders. If you start the 7-day trial, we remind you 2 days before it ends.

What does Restitute see, and where does it go?

Only the screenshots you pick. They're read on your iPhone and not kept. What it finds is saved on your iPhone, never synced to iCloud by Restitute and never sent to us. Like all app data, it's part of your own iPhone backups. There are no Restitute servers. The app sends only anonymous usage counts and a record of Pro purchases, neither linked to you and neither containing anything it found.
